Usually the out-size of these crates is large with good mechanical properties,low temperature resistance and weather resistance.

 

In order to meet these requirements, we suggest to using HDPE plastic raw-material and adding the rib around the outer surface and bottom to keep the strength and stiffness. According to the size and difficult structure, we usually use 1 cavity mold with 1 tip runner gate for this kind of plastic crate mould or plastic boxes mould.(but some of crate mold we also use four tip hot runner systems) When we make the design of plastic crate product, we need to make the product analysis, and use the professional software to make the mold flow to know and avoid some issue to ensure the quality of the products.

Adopting hot runner technology could optimize mold structure and save the injection cycle time.
